Beaurns & Sons on November 29, 1926.Very fine and very rare 18K gold, keyless, astronomical Triple Complication pocket watch with minute repeater, instantaneous perpetual calendar, phases of the moon and split-seconds chronograph with 30-minute instantaneous register, accompanied by the original certificate and a later one with details of the sale.

C. Four-body, "bassine", polished, the back cover engraved with initials ?PVS?, gold hinged cuvette inscribed?Paul V. Shaffer, Christmas 1926?, bolt on the band at 11 o'clock to protect the chronograph from accidental stopping when measuring long intervals, a push button to its left for controlling the split-seconds mechanism. D. White enamel, Breguet hour chapter, outer minute and seconds divisions with five minute/seconds Arabic markers, four subsidiary sunk dials for days on the week, days of the month concentric with seconds, months and aperture for phases of the moon with lunar calendar concentricwith minutes register. Blued steel ?spade? hands. M. 41 mmø (18'''), nickel, ?fausses côtes? decoration, 39 jewels, straight-line counterpoised lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued-steel Breguet balance spring, 8 adjustments, "swan-neck" micrometric regulator, chronograph and split second mechanisms set on the back, repeating on gongs through a slide in the band.Signed on dial, case and movement.Diam. 51 mm.
