Patek Philippe & Cie., Genève, No. 125230, case No. 238693, made for Shreve & C°, circa 1905. Very fine 18 ct. gold minute repeating keyless watch with split second chronograph and instantaneous 30 minute recorder.
Three body massive "demi-bassine" polished case with invisible hinges. Gold cuvette. White enamel dial with Breguet numerals, outer red Arabic minute and chronograph rings, subsidiary seconds and minute register. Gold Louis XV hands. Nickel plated 17" movement, "fausses côtes" decoration, 38 jewels, equilibrated straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring with a swan neck micrometric index. Repeating on gongs by means of a slide on the band. The chronograph with a push piece on the crown, that of the split seconds on the band. Signed "Shreve" on the dial and the movement, "Patek Philippe" on the movement and case. In very good condition. Diam. 47 mm.
