Patek Philippe & Cie., Genève, No. 90496, case No. 223592, produced in 1892, sold to Verhagen & C° in December 1905. Very rare and extremely fine 18 ct. pink gold hunting cased keyless watch with independant sweep seconds, in original mahogany fitted case, with a certificate and a letter from Patek Philippe.

Patek Philippe. Four body massive "bassine" polished case. Gold cuvette. White enamel dial with Roman numerals. Blued steel " spade" hands. Very fine nickel plated 18"' double train movement with a differential winding, "fausses côtes" decoration, 29 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Independant second visible train with a push piece on the band. Signed on the dial, the case and the movement. In very good condition. Diam. 52 mm. A similar watch is illustrated in the Patek Philippe book of pocket watches, page 195, fig 167 a and b.
