Patek Philippe & Cie., Genève, No. 97424, case No. 217049 , sold on December 30 1896. Very fine 18 ct. pink gold hunting cased, minute repeating moon phase astronomical keyless watch with perpetual calendar and chronograph, in original ebonised wood fitted case with certificate.

Four body massive "pomme et filets grande gouge" polished case, the name of the first owner engraved inside the cover. Gold cuvette.White enamel dial with Roman numerals, outer Arabic minute and chronograph rings, subsidiary dials for the days of the week, the months and the date with inner subsidiary seconds, aperture for the phases of the moon with its ages on the border. Blued steel "spade" hands. Very fine nickel plated 19"' movement, "fausses côtes" decoration, 32 jewels, equilibrated straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Repeating on gongs by means of a slide on the band. The chronograph with visible work, the push piece on the band. Signed on the dial, the case and the movement. In very good condition. Diam. 55 mm.
