Patek Philippe & Cie., Genève, No.11689, case No. 224363, Made for Bailey, Banks & Biddle Co., Philidelphia, circa 1900. Fine 18 ct. pink gold minute-repeating moon phase astronomical keyless watch with perpetual calendar and split seconds chronograph.
C. Four body, massive, "bassine". Gold cuvette engraved with owners name and date 1904. D. White enamel, Roman numerals and outer Arabic minute and chronograph rings. Subsidiary dials for day, months, date (in red) concentric subsidiary seconds, moon phase with the age on the edge. Blued-steel "spade" and chronograph hands, gold calendar pointers. M. 19", "Special", nickelled with "fausse côtes" decoration, 37 jewels, counterpoised adjustable lever escapement with cut bimetallic balance, Breguet spring with swan-neck index. Repeating on gongs with slicle in the bancl. Visible chronograph work, push piece in the crown and split button in the band with locking boit. Signed dial, case and movement. In excellent condition.
