Precision Timekeeper with 1 ComplicationPatek et Czapek, a Genève, No. 713, sold to Princess Galitzin on March 8, 1844.Exceptionally fine and probably unique, 20K gold, keyless quarter-repeating watch with gilt and engraved platinum movement, ruby duplex escapement with early attempt at auxiliary balance compensation and Audemars winding and setting system. C. Four-body, "Empire", back cover with engraved coat-of-arms of Prince Galitzin, reeded band, gold hinged glazed cuvette. D. White enamel, radial Roman numerals, outer minute divisions. M. 42,8 mm (19'''), gilt platinum engraved with foliate and floral patterns, bridge caliber with hanging barrel, 22 jewels, ruby duplex escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with early "wings" on the arms for restricting the movement of the lamina segments in heat, blued steel flat balance spring, Audears winding and setting mechanism with mode-switching bolt on the band at 11 o'clock, repeating on gongs by a slide in the band.Signed on the movement, movement and case stamped with the same number.Diam. 48 mm.
