Patek Philippe à Genève, No. 873396. Made circa 1965. Fine and rare, gilt bronze, solar-powered with electric winding, designed as a small Louis XV wall cartel clock. Accompanied by the original box and certificate.
C. Designed as a gilt bronze Louis XV cartel, chased foliate scrolls, the solar cells concealed behind the grille below the dial. D. White enamel with radial Roman numerals outer minute track and Arabic five-minute numerals. Gilt-brass "Louis XV" hands. M. Based on 17''' mechanical 29 jewel movement with free-sprung Gyromax balance powered with lithium battery back-up, driving a remontoir train which winds the barrel spring. Dial and movement signed.
