"Split-Seconds Chronograph" Patek Philippe & Co, Geneve, No. 97504, case No. 229799. Made in 1894, sold on August 31, 1905. Very fine and rare, 18K gold pocket watch with split-seconds chronograph. Accompanied by the Extract from the Archives.
C. Four-body, ?bassine?, polished, bolt at 11 to lock the chronograph. Dedicated hinged gold cuvette. D. White enamel with radial dauphine numerals, outer minute track and concentric fifths of a second divisions, red Arabic five minute/seconds numerals, subsidiary seconds. Gold ?Louis XVI? hands. M. 42 mm., 19???, rhodiumplated, ?fausses côtes? decoration, 23 jewels, counterpoised straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator, chronograph button in the crown split-seconds button at 11 o'clock.
