Extremely fine and rare 18-carat three coloured gold hunting cased minute repeating fob watch with a short matching chatelaine. Masive four body case, the cover with a three coloured gold chased coat of arms and the motto: ' Nec temere - Nec timide', the back with a similar decoration and a monogram. Glazed gold cuvette. Short three coloured gold chatelain with the same coat of arms. White enamel dial with Arabic numerals and outer red minute ring. Blued steel 'spade' hands. Nickel plated 14"' keyless movement, fausses-côtes' decoration, 29 jewels, equilibrated straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance-spring, repeating on gongs by means of a slide on the engraved band. In mint condition. Diam. 41 mm.
