Rare 18-carat gold hunting cased early keyless moon phase astronomical watch with perpetual calendar, made for the Spanish market in original fitted mahogany casket. Massive four body 'demi-bassine et filets carrure godronnée' engine turned case. Very small monogram on the cover. Gold cuvette engraved with a dedication. White enamel dial with Roman numerals and moon phase aperture, subsidiary dials for the months, the dates and the running seconds with inner days of the week. Blued steel 'spade' hands. Nickel plated 18"' movement, 20 jewels, gold train of wheel, equilibrated straight line lever escapement with cut bimetallic balance and Breguet balance-spring. In very good condition. Diam. 53 mm.
