Watch with 7 Complications Patek Philippe & Co., Genève, No. 65311, case No. 65311. Made in 1882, sold on April 9th 1886. Very fine and very rare, 18K pink gold, minute-repeating, keyless, hunting-cased pocket watch with perpetual calendar, chronograph, moon phases and age. Accompanied by the Extract from the Archives.

C. Four-body, "bassine", massive, polished. Hinged gold cuvette. D. White enamel with radial Roman numerals outer minute track and fifths of a second chronograph divisions, Arabic five second numerals, subsidiary dials for the days of the week, the months and subsidiary seconds with inner red date ring, moon phase aperture with moon's age on the border. Blued steel spade hands. M. 19"', rhodium-plated, fausses cotes decoration, 35 jewels, wolf's tooth winding, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator, visible chronograph work, repeating on gongs activated by a slide on the band. Notes

The present watch has been in the family of the original owner since its purchase. Its provenance is further confirmed by the beautiful engraving on the case back specifying its date of sale, 1886, as confirmed by the Extract from the Archives. It has remained unused and untouched at the bottom of a cedar chest since 1950, until recently re-discovered by the current owner. This is the first time this watch has appeared at auction.
