Patek Philippe & Cie., Genève, No 174496, case No 401506, circa 1915. Very fine and rare 18 ct. gold keyless minute repeating moon phase astronomical watch with a perpetual calendar, a split second chronograph and an instantaneous 30 minute recorder.

Three body massive "bassine" polished case with invisible hinges. Gold cuvette. White enamel dial with Breguet numerals, outer red Arabic minute and chronograph rings, moon phase aperture with its age on the edge and a symetrical minute register, subsidiary dials for the days of the week, the months and the dates with inner running seconds. Blued steel "pear" hands. Extremely fine rhodium plated 19' movement, "fausses côtes" decoration, 40 jewels, equilibrated straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, 8 adjustments, Breguet balance spring with a swan neck micrometric index. Repeating on gongs by means of a slide on the band. The chronograph with a visible work, the split second push piece and a bolt on the band. Signed on the dial, the cuvette and the movement. In very good condition. Diam.: 54 mm.
