Patek Philippe & Cie, Genève, No. 27115, case No. 27115, made for A.H. Rodanet, Paris, sold on 4.7. 1867. Médaille d'or. Exposition Universelle 1867. Very rare 18-carat gold hunting cased keyless watch with independant seconds and diablotine.

Massive, four body "bassine et filet" engine-turned case. Gold cuvette. White enamel dial with Roman numerals outer minute and second rings, subsidiary 1/5 of a second chap-ter. Blued steel "Spade" hands. Interesting 20"' gilt brass, double level two train movement, both wound simultaneously, 29 jewels, equilibrated straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance-spring. Independant seconds and "diablotine" released simultaneously, stopped and locked by a push piece and a bolt on the band. In very good condition. Diam. 55 mm.
