Massive four body "demi-bassine et filets carrure godronnée" engine-turned case, the cover with champlevé enamelled Roman numerals around the circular aperture. Gold cuvette engraved with symbols of American glory. White enamel dial with Roman numerals and moon phase aperture, subsidiary dials for the months, the dates and the running seconds with inner days of the week. Blued steel "Spade" hands. 19' gilt brass movement, 20 jewels, equilibrated straight line lever escapement with cut bimetallic balance and Breguet balance-spring. In very good condition. Diam. 53 mm.
