Patek Philippe & Cie, Genève, No. 191016, case No. 414824, made for Henry Graves Jr., New York, Awarded first Prize at the Geneva Astronomical Observatory, in 1926 with 798 points. With photocopy of the Geneva Observatory contest report, sold on the 2.3.1929.

High grade platinum pocket-chronometer. Massive triple body "demi-bassine" polished case, the Henry Graves coat of arms engraved on the back. Platinum cuvette engraved with the awarded price and the dedication. Mat platinum dial with Empire Roman numerals and subsidiary seconds. Blued steel "Spade" hands. Very fine 18' rhodium plated movement "extra" quality, " fausses-côtes" decoration, bearing the Geneva quality mark, 23 jewels, one gold screwed setting, equilibrated straight line lever escapement, brass- Invar Guillaume balance, sapphire endstone, eight adjustments by François Modoux, blued steel balance-spring with terminal curve and swan neck micrometric index. In mint condition. Diam. 50 mm.
