Putnam Minute Repeater Patek Philippe & Cie, Geneva, Switzerland, No. 156556, case No. 281117. Made in 1909, sold to Haman & Co., St. Paul, Minn(eapolis) on June 3rd, 1914. Very fine and rare, minute-repeating, 18K gold and enamel keyless dress watch. Accompanied by the Extract from the Archives.
C. Four-body, ?bassine et filet?, polished, the back cover decorated in enamel with the Putnam coat of arms and motto, black enamel and gold flower and swag border, the bezel decorated to match. Hinged gold cuvette with engraved dedication. D. Cream enamel with Breguet numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds. Blued steel spade hands. M. 18???, rhodium-plated, fausses cotes decoration, 31 jewels, wolf?s tooth winding, counterpoised straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with 8 adjustments, blued steel Breguet balance spring, swan neck micrometer regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a slide on the band.
