Yellow Gold Gondolo Chronograph Patek Philippe & Cie., Genève, ?Chronometro Gondolo?, movement No. 125432, case No. 254511. Made in 1906, sold on December 2nd, 1908. Very fine and rare, large, 18K yellow gold keyless pocket watch with chronograph and 30-minute register. Accompanied by the Extract from the Archives.
C. Four-body, ?demi-bassine?, polished, back with foliate engraved monogram, bolt at 1 o'clock to lock the chronograph. Hinged gold cuvette. D. White enamel with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track and fifths of a second divisions, Arabic five-minute numerals, subsidiary dial for the seconds and 30-minute register. Blued steel spade hands. M. 21''', frosted gilt, gold wheel train, 23 jewels, wolf's tooth winding, straight line ?moustache? lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with gold temperature screws, blued steel Breguet balance spring with outer terminal curve, Patek Philippe micrometric cam regulator patented on January 13, 1891, chronograph work set on the back, activated by a push-piece in the crown. Dial, case, cuvette and movement signed. Diam. 56 mm.
