Very fine and rare, minute-repeating, 18K yellow gold, hunting-cased, keyless pocket watch with special engraved case. Accompanied by the original leather fitted box and original certificate.

C. Four-body, ?bassine et filet?, the front finely engraved with a scene of open-cast mining, engine-turned back with foliate monogram ?JV?, polished band. Hinged gold cuvette with engraved dedication ?Souvenir aan Graetheide 1921-1927?. D.White enamel, Breguet numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds. Blued steel spade hands. M. 40 mm. (18???), rhodium plated, fausses cotes decoration, 31 jewels, wolf?s tooth winding, counterpoised straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with blued steel Breguet balance spring, swan-neck micrometer regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a slide on the band. Dial, case, cuvette and movement signed. Diam. 50 mm.
