Minute-Repeating & Split-Second Chronograph Patek, Philippe & Co., Geneva, No. 80642, case No. 80642, retailed by George C. Shreve & Co., San Francisco, Cal. Made in 1889, sold on July 31st, 1890. Very fine, minute-repeating, 18K pink gold keyless pocket watch with split-second chronograph. Accompanied by the Extract from the Archives.

C. Four-body, "demi-bassine", polished, slide for locking the chronograph at 11 o?clock, button for split seconds between 10 and 11. Hinged gold cuvette with engraved monogram. D. White enamel dial with Breguet numerals, outer minute and fifths of a second divisions, outermost red Arabic five-second numerals, subsidiary seconds. Blued steel spade hands. M. 43 mm., 19???, three-quarter plate, 29 jewels, counterpoised straightline lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a slide on the band, chronograph with visible works. Dial, case and movement signed George C. Shreve & Co., movement signed Patek Philippe & Co., Geneva. Diam. 54 mm.
