Split-Seconds Chronograph Minute-Repeater Patek, Philippe & Cie, Genève,movement No. 80424, retailed and cased by Tiffany & Co., New York. Made in 1888, sold on July 17, 1889. Very fine and rare, keyless, half open face, minuterepeating, 18K rose gold pocketwatchwith splitseconds chronograph. Accompanied by the Extract from the Archives.
C. Four-body, ?bassine?, solid, polished, rectangular pusher on the band for the split-seconds function, locking bolt at 11 o'clock, concealed hinges. Hinged gold cuvette. D. White enamel with painted Breguet numerals, outer minute and 1/5 seconds divisions with red Arabic 5-minute/ seconds numerals. Blued steel spade hands. M. Cal. 16''', maillechort, fausses cotes decoration, 23 jewels, straight-line counterpoised lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator, repeating activated by a slide on the band. Dial, case and movement signed Tiffany & Co. Diam. 46 mm.
