Art Deco Diamonds & Emeralds Patek Philippe & Co., movement No. 808149, the case by E. Gubelin, No. 5087. Movement made in 1923, sold on May 11, 1925. Very fine and elegant, Art Deco, platinum, diamond and emerald-set lady?s wristwatch with a 14K white gold and diamond-set two-strand bracelet. Accompanied by the Extract from the Archives.
C. Rectangular with bowed sides, articulated flared hooded lugs, the sides and back border engraved with a scroll pattern, the back with erased inscription, set with 32 round diamonds and a line of emeralds, winding crown set with a cabochon emerald. D. Matte silver, navette shaped, applied round, dart and pyramidal indexes. Blued steel pear hands. M. 5 ½???, oval, rhodium-plated, fausses cotes decoration, 18 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with 8 adjustments, blued steel flat balance spring, index regulator. Dial and movement signed Patek Philippe & Co., case signed E. Gubelin. Dim. 43 x 15 mm. Approx. overall length 145 mm.
