Platinum Filaments Patek Philippe & Co., Genève, No. 34077. Made in 1868, sold on June 11, 1869. Very fine and extremely rare, possibly unique, 18K pink gold and platinum, hunting cased, keyless pocket watch. Accompanied by the Extract from the Archives.

C. Four-body, ?bassine et filet?, polished, each cover outlined with two platinum filaments. Hinged gold cuvette. D. White enamel with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds. Blued steel spade hands. M. 18???, frosted gilt, 15 jewels, wolf?s tooth winding, straight-line moustache lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel flat balance spring, index regulator. Cuvette and case signed. Diam. 49 mm.

The case of the present watch is extremely unusual and quite probably unique, with the inclusion of platinum filaments in its construction.
