Five Minute Repeating & Chronograph Patek, Philippe & Co., Genève, retailed by Ernesto Haussmann, Roma, No. 80019, case No. 201284. Made in 1887, sold on April 2nd, 1889. Very fine and rare, 18K yellow gold, keyless, five minute-repeating pocket watch with chronograph. Accompanied by the Extract from the Archives.
C. Four-body, "bassine", polished, chronograph button at 5 o?clock locked when cover is closed. Hinged gold cuvette. D. White enamel, radial Roman numerals, outer minute track with concentric fifths of a second divisions with five-minute Arabic numerals. Blued steel spade hands. M. 19''', rhodium-plated, fausses cotes decoration, 29 jewels, wolf?s tooth winding, calibrated straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with gold screws, blued steel Breguet balance spring with overcoil, index regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a slide in the band. Dial, case and cuvette signed, movement numbered. Diam. 54 mm.
