Quarter-Repeater Patek, Philippe & Cie., Genève, No. 124679, case No. 232881. Made for L.M. Lilpop, Warsaw, Poland, in 1903, sold on December 21st, 1903. Extremely fine and very rare, quarter-repeating, 14K yellow gold, hunting cased, keyless pocket watch. Accompanied by the Extract from the Archives.
C. Five-body, ?lentille?, polished. Hinged gold cuvette engraved with the retailer?s details. D. Matte gilt, champlevé Breguet numerals, outer minute track, large subsidiary seconds, engine-turned center. Blued-steel spade hands. M. 21''', rhodiumplated, fausses cotes decoration, 21 jewels, wolf?s tooth winding, straight-line calibrated lever escapement, cut-bimetallic compensation balance with blued steel Breguet balance spring, swan-neck micrometer regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a slide on the band. Dial, case, cuvette and movement signed. Diam. 57 mm.
