Patek Philippe Adjusted Extra & Guillaume Balance ? Breguet Dial Patek Philippe & Cie., Genève, movement No. 163542, case No. 277949. Made in 1911, sold on November 9th, 1923. Very fine and rare, large and heavy, 18K yellow gold, hunting cased, keyless, ?Extra? lever chronometer pocket watch with Guillaume balance. Accompanied by the Extract from the Archives.
C. Four-body, ?demi-bassine?, solid, polished. Hinged gold cuvette. D. White enamel with Breguet numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds dial. Yellow gold spade hands. M. Cal. 20???, ?Extra?, rhodium-plated, fausses cotes decoration, 17 jewels, wolf's tooth winding, counterpoised straight-line lever escapement, anibal-brass Guillaume balance with winged arms, gold temperature and platinum meantime adjustment screws, blued steel Breguet balance spring with outer terminal curve, Wilmot?s patent cam micrometer regulator, diamond endstone. Dial, case, cuvette and movement signed. Diam. 58 mm.
