Patek Philippe Hunting Cased Patek, Philippe y Co., Ginebra, No. 51293, retailed by M. de Arregui, Madrid. Made for the Spanish market, circa 1875. Fine, 18K yellow gold, keyless, hunting cased pocket watch.
C. Four-body, "bassine et filets," engine-turned with polished borders, reeded band. Hinged gold cuvette. D. White enamel with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track and five-minute Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds. Blued steel spade hands. M. Cal. 20''', matte gilt, 17 jewels, wolf?s tooth winding, straight-line lever escapement à moustache, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel flat balance spring, index regulator. Case, cuvette and movement signed, dial signed by the retailer. Diam. 54 mm.
