Made for Gondolo & Laboriau, Relojoeiros, Rio de Janeiro, circa 1912. Very fine, large, 18K yellow gold, keyless ?Chronometro Gondolo? pocket watch with enamel monogram.

C. Four-body, "bassine", polished, case back with enamel initials. Hinged gold cuvette. D. White enamel with owner?s name with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track with red 24-hour indication, subsidiary seconds. Gold spade hands. M. 47 mm. (21'''), gilt brass patented bridge caliber, 21 jewels, wolf?s tooth winding, gold wheel train, straight-line moustache lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with blued steel Breguet balance spring, micrometric cam regulator.
