Patek Philippe & Cie, Genève, No. 65450, case No. 65450, made for Roussialle, Lyon, circa 1882. Very fine and important 18K gold astronomical, perpetual calendar, minute-repeating keyless watch with phases and age of the moon. Accompanied by original certificate and box.

C. Four-body, "variée", with concave bezels, polished with engraved coat-of-arms on the back, bezel with ridged edges, gold hinged cuvette. D. White enamel, radial Roman numerals, outer minute ring, four subsidiary dials for days of the week, date concentric with small seconds, months and aperture for the enameled phases of the moon on a gold disc and its age on the upper border. Blued steel "spade" hands. M. 42.5 mm. (19 '''), nickel, "fausses côtes" decoration, 31 jewels, straight line calibrated lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring, wolf-tooth winding wheels repeating on gongs by a slide in the band. Signed on the dial and movement, back cover stamped inside with maker's mark, cuvette engraved with the retailer's name. Diam. 55 mm.
