PATEK PHILIPPE HUNTING CASED QUARTER REPEATER Patek Philippe & Co., Genève. No. 65081. Made circa 1885. Very fine and rare, quarter-repeating, 18K gold, keyless, hunting cased pocket watch. Accompanied by the original Patek Philippe fitted box and two spare crystals in numbered wrapping.

C. Four-body, ?bassine et filets,? engine-turned with engraved leaf borders, band and bow, the front cover with engraved monogram. Hinged gold-rimmed glazed cuvette to view the movement. D. White enamel with narrow radial Roman numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds. Blued steel Breguet hands. M. Cal. 18???, rhodium-plated, fausses cotes decoration, 19 jewels, wolf ?s tooth winding, counterpoised straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with gold timing screws, blued steel Breguet balance spring with overcoil, index regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a slide on the band. Movement signed, case numbered. DIAM. 49 mm.
