PATEK PHILIPPE HUNTING CASED POCKET WATCH FOR THE ROMANIAN COURT Patek Philippe & Cie. Genève, No. 114561, case No. 225768. Made for M. Helder, supplier to the Romanian Court in 1899, sold on October 21st, 1901. Fine, 18K pink gold hunting-cased keyless pocket watch. Accompanied by the Extract from the Archives.

Four-body, "bassine", polished. Hinged gold cuvette engraved 'Fabrique specialement pour M. Helder fournisseur de la Cour Royale de Roumanie Galatz'. White enamel with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds dial. Gold spade hands 18''', frosted gilt, bar caliber, 15 jewels, wolf 's tooth winding, moustache straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel flat balance spring, index regulator with scale engraved on the center bridge. Dial, case, cuvette and movement signed.
