PATEK PHILIPPE MINUTE REPEATER PINK GOLD Patek Philippe & Co., Genève, No. 90185, case No. 206933. Made for Spaulding & Co., Chicago in 1890, sold on October 8, 1891. Fine and rare, keyless, minute repeating, 18K pink gold pocket watch. Accompanied by the Extract from the Archives.
Four-body, bassine, polished, snap-on back. Hinged gold cuvette. White enamel with black dauphine numerals, outer minute track with gold-painted Arabic five-minute numerals, subsidiary seconds dial. Pink gold Louis XVI hands. 17''', one-quarter-plate caliber "ultra thin", nickel, fausses-côtes decoration, 29 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a slide on the band.
