Accessories extract from the archives, 18k yellow gold chain signed Mellerio
Notes
As confirmed by the extract from the archives, the movement was sold
without the case. As the chain clip is signed by Mellerio, the famed
French jeweller, it is safe to assume that the case was manufactured
to fit the dial and the movement as confirmed by the three French
hallmarks on the case. Purchased by the current owner’s family at the
Antiquorum sale in May 2006 (lot 687), it is the only known example of
its kind.
