Patek, Philippe & Co. W GENEWIE, Wynalezli i Zrobili, No. 16161, made for the Polish market in 1859 and sold on June 15, 1860 to Mr. A. Wisniewski for 449 francs. Very fine and rare 18K gold hunting-cased keyless watch with early keyless winding mechanism.
C. Four-body, ?bassine et filets?, front centered by the Polish-Lithuanian eagle surmounted by a count?s crown, initialed back, reeded band, gold hinged cuvette. D. White enamel, Roman numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary sunk seconds. Blued steel ?spade? hands. M. 41 mm., Cal. 19h, frosted gilt, 19 jewels, hanging barrel, straight line ?moustache? lever escapement, cut-bimetallic compensation balance with flat balance spring, Philippe?s 3rd winding/setting system. Signed on the cuvette. Diam. 47 mm.
