Saint Mary Patek, Philippe & Co W GENEWIE, No. 20035, made for the Polish market in 1861, sold on December 26, 1862. Very fine and rare 18K gold and enamel hunting-cased lady?s pendant watch in a Polish fitted box, accompanied by the Extract from the Archives.
C. Four-body, ?bassine et filets?, front with finely engraved and filled with black champlevé enamel representing the Virgin and Child after the painting of Saint Mary Czestochowska, the back en suite with the Polish Eagle, Lithuanian Chase (Pogon Litewska) and guardian Angel, both on engine-turned background, polished band, gold hinged cuvette. D. White enamel, radial Roman numerals, outer minute track, secured by two small screws. Breguet hands. M. 29 mm. (13???), Cal 4, frosted gilt, cylinder escapement, three-arm gilt balance with flat balance spring. Signed on the cuvette. Diam. 34 mm.
