Notes

In Poland between the two World Wars, it was customary for a son to convert his mother?s old pendant watch into a wristwatch. A. Modro, Patek Philippe?s representative in Warsaw, was established in 1874 at Marszalkowska 151. He also advertized the sale of his own brand watches.
