Notes

The three clock units separately count the time. Each one is equipped with a quartz-crystal oscillator and electronic dividers. The results are compared with each other in the control unit which is build in the time unit C. If one of the there clock units show a difference it is automatically switched off.To increase the precision the clock system it is synchronized each second by the time signal from the observatory Prangins Genève.The punched tape cassette programmer is able to actuate a pre-set time signal for every minute of a day for seven days. It comes with chiming confirmation. This is one of the most sophisticated electronic clock systems produced by Patek Philippe.Similar clock was exhibited this summer in the Parliament House in Bern on the occasion of its 100 Anniversary.!
