Kosciuszko on Horseback Patek i Czapek w Genewie, No. 650, made for the Polish market in 1842, sold on September 4, 1843. Extremely rare and fine slim 18K gold watch, accompanied by the Extract from the Archives.
C. Four-body, ?bassine? with coin edge, back very finely engraved with Kosciuszko on horseback, scrolling border, bezel chased with scrolling, gold hinged cuvette. D. Silver, champlevé radial Roman numerals, outer minute divisions, center florally engraved, snap-on fit. Blued steel Breguet hands. M. 40 mm. (18???), Cal 1, frosted gilt, 10 jewels, cylinder escapement, three-arm gilt balance with flat balance spring, hanging barrel. Signed on the cuvette, punched with the maker?s trademark under the dial. Diam. 44 mm.
