Notes

Property of An Important Collector

This rare Patek Philippe open-face pocket watch with a five-minute repeater was made in 1906. Crafted in 18K yellow gold and featuring a beautiful white enamel dial, this timepiece was originally commissioned by the renowned American jeweler, Shreve, Crump & Low.

Its dust cuvette is engraved «W.C. Gill» by Frederick C. Fletcher on December 15, 1917, in recognition of «loyal and efficient service during a period of twenty years.» This example has been consigned from an important collector in Asia, who purchased it from Beyer in 2001. Accompanied by a Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives, a Beyer certificate, and its contemporary 18K gold pocket watch chain, it is undoubtedly a collector’s item.
