Patek, Philippe & Cie., Genève, No.156958, case No. 265524, made for Shreve & Co. San Francisco, circa 1910. Very fine 18K gold minute-repeating keyless dress watch with split-seconds chronograph and 30-minute register.
C. Four-body, "bassine", polished, back with engraved monogram, Hinged gold cuvette. D. White enamel,Arabic numerals, outer minute/seconds track, red Arabic five-minute/seconds markers, sunk minute register at 12 o'clock, subsidiary sunk seconds. Gold "Louis XV" hands. M. 36 mm (16''', nickel, "fausses côtes" decoration, 39 jewels, calibrated straight line lever escapement, cut-bimetallic compensation balance, Breguet balance spring, "swan-neck" micrometric regulator, eight adjustments, chronograph mechanism on the back plate, split-seconds mechanism under the dial, repeating on gongs through activating slide in the band.Cuvette and movement signed, dial and movement signed for the retailerDiam.45 mm.
