Patek Philippe & Cie., Genève, No.125920, case No. 243282, made for Spaulding, Chicago, circa 1908. Very fine 18K gold minute-repeating keyless dress watch.
C. four-body, "bassine", polished, back with monogram "WWB", gold hinged cuvette. D. white enamel, radial Arabic numerals, outer minute ring with red Arabic five-minute markers, subsidiary sunk seconds. gold "Louis XV" hands. M. 38 mm (17''' nickel, "fausses côtes" decoration, 31 jewels, calibrated straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance Breguet balance spring, "swan-neck" micrometric regulator, repeating on gongs through activating slide in the band.Case and movement signed. Dial, case and movement also signed by the retailer.Diam. 47 mm.
