Boar Hunt Patek & Co., Geneva, No. 1715, made in 1846. Very fine and very rare, gold and silver hunting-cased early Patek.
C. five-body, ?bassine?, the front with applied and engraved gold mask and foliage on silver vermicelli engine-turned background, back en suite with a scene depicting a boar hunt, gold bezels, hinges, neck and bow, gilt silver hinged cuvette. D. white enamel, Roman numerals, outer minute divisions. Blued steel Breguet hands. M. 36 mm (16''', Model 2, frosted gilt, hanging barrel, cylinder escapement, three-arm gilt balance with flat balance spring.Signed on the cuvette and punched with maker's mark on the movement under the dial.Diam. 44 mm.
