Patek, Philippe & Cie., Genève, No. 31613, made for J. W. Tucker, San Francisco, circa 1867. Fine and unusual 18K gold and enamel hunting-cased keyless pendant watch.
C. five-body, ?bassine et filets?, both covers engine-turned in a delicate vermicelli pattern, top and base decorated with stylized foliage in black champlevé enamel, reeded band, gold hinged cuvette. D. white enamel, Roman numerals, outer minute divisions. Blued steel Breguet hands. M. 33.8 mm (15''', Model 13, rhodium-plated, ?fausses côtes? decoration, 17 jewels, straight line ?moustache? lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with flat balance spring, Adrien Philippe's 8th winding system with threaded stem.Signed on the cuvette, numbered onthe cuvette, inside of back cover and movement.Diam. 40 mm.
