The Lorgnon Patek i Spólka W GENEWIE, No. 2277, made for Polish market, circa 1847. Extremely rare and very fine folding lorgnon with concealed watch.
C. spring-loaded front cover finely painted on enamel with a bouquet of flowers, handle and back with foliate and scrolling pattern, oval loose gold suspension ring, small pushbutton in handle releasing spectacle glasses, another in form of a fly releases the watch cover. D. white enamel, radial Roman numerals, outer minute divisions, blued steel ?Breguet? hands, mounted in a gold, polished plate with winding, setting and regulating apertures. M. 20 x 34 mm, (9 x 15''' rectangular with rounded top side, bar caliber, hanging barrel, cylinder escapement, three-arm gilt balance with flat balance spring.Signed on the dial plate and the movement under the dial.Dim. Length 94 x 23 x 10 mm.
