Patek, Philippe & Cie., Genève, No. 174504, case No. 401507 , circa 1913. Very fine and important 18K gold, keyless "Special" minute-repeating watch with split-seconds chronograph and 30-minute register in original fitted box. Accompinied by the Extract from the Archives.
C. four-part, "bassine", polished, concealed hinge, hinged gold cuvette. D. white enamel, Breguet numerals, outer minute track, outermost seconds divided into fifths, five-minute/seconds red Arabic markers, sunk minute register at 12 o'clock, sunk subsidiary seconds. Gold "Louis XV" hands. M. 38 mm. (17''', nickel, "fausses côtes" decoration, 43 jewels, 8 adjustments, straight line calibrated lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with Breguet balance spring, "swan-neck" micrometric regulator, split second mechanism under the dial, repeating on gongs through activating slide in the band. Dial, case and movement signed.Diam. 47 mm.
