Patek, Philippe & Cie., Genève, No. 97444, case No. 218540, made for M. Scooler, New Orleans, circa 1890. Very fine and small 18K gold keyless minute-repeating dress watch with split-seconds chronograph.
C. four-body, "bassine", polished, back with engraved monogram, hinged gold cuvette. D. white enamel, Breguet numerals, outer minute/seconds track, red Arabic five-minute/seconds markers. Gold "Louis XV" hands.M. 36 mm (17''', nickel, "fausses côtes" decoration, 35 jewels, calibrated straight line lever escapement, cut-bimetallic compensation balance, Breguet balance spring, chronograph mechanism on the back plate, split-seconds mechanism under the dial, repeating on gongs through activating slide in the band.Movement and cuvette signed. Dial, cuvette and movement signed by the retailer.Diam.45 mm.
