C. four body, 'Louis XVI', the back with St. George slaying the Dragon, the inside with Jesus calming the storm on the Sea of Galilee ( Matthew 8:24). Stamped from a die, such as for making coins or medals. Hinged silver cuvette. D. gold, chased with foliage, blue Roman numerals on enamel cartouches, snap-on fit. Gold 'Louis XV' hands. M. 11 3/4''', nickel plated, 'fausses côtes' decoration, 18 jewels, straight line lever escapement 'à moustaches', cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring,wolf-tooth winding wheels.Signed on the cuvette.Diam. 32 mm.
