From 1902 on, the company produced a speciallydesigned, very high quality caliber, called ?Chronometro Gondolo?, exclu-sively for Gondolo & Labouriau. Its specifications required: that the ebauchebe based on Adrien Philippe?s patented design (US patent No. 20483 of Jan13, 1891); a 9K gold train; a straight line ?moustache? lever escapement withcut bimetallic compensation balance and Breguet balance spring; a mini -mum of 18 jewels; François Wilmot?s patented micrometric cam regulator(US patent No 129197 registered on July 16, 1872).
