Patek, Philippe & Cie., Genève, No. 138247, case No. 138247, made for Bailey, Banks & Biddle, circa 1910. Very fine 18K gold, keyless ?Special? minute-repeating watch in leather fitted box, accompanied by gold chain and gold cigar cutter.
C. Four-body, ?bassine?, polished with engraved initials on the back, gold hinged cuvette. D. White enamel, radial Arabic numerals, outer minute divisions with five-minute red Arabic markers, subsidiary sunk seconds. M. 38 mm (17???), maillechort, ?fausses côtes? decoration, 31 jewels, 8 adjustments, straight line calibrated lever escapement, cut-bimetallic compensation balance with Breguet balance spring, ?swan-neck? micrometric regulator, repeating on gongs through activating slide in the band.Signed on the movement, dial and case; movement also signed by the retailer.Diam. 46 mm.
