Patek Philippe & Co., No. 76771, case No. 202583, made for Julian Y. Duprat in 1889 - 1890. Extremely fine and important 18K gold antimagnetic hunting-cased keyless pocket watch with special movement and dial.
C. Four body, "pommes", polished, sprung and hinged front cover with engraved monogram, milled edges,hinged back. Hinged gold cuvette. D. White enamel, letter numerals spelling "Julian Duprat", outer minute indi-cationsand Arabic five minute markers, subsidiary seconds. Blued steel spade hands. M. 41 mm., rhodium-plated,"fausses cotes" decoration, wolf's tooth winding, counterpoised straight line lever escapement with goldfork, diamond pallets, ruby locking pin and blued steel roller, cut bimetallic compensation balance with goldtemperature screws and platinum meantime screws, palladium Breguet balance spring, escape wheel andbalance wheel pivots with gold jewel caps, index regulator.Signed on the movement, cuvette and case.
