C. Supplied by Smith & Co. Four body "bassine et filets" engine-turned with reeded band, the back centred with a monogram. Hinged gold cuvette engraved with a dedication dated 25 December 1887. D. White enamel with Roman numerals, outer minute ring and sunk subsidiary seconds. Blued steel "spade" hands. M. 18"' nickel plated "fausses cotes " decoration, 20 jewels, counterpoised straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance Extra adjustment, Breguet balance spring. Signed on the movement. Dial and case signed by the retailer. Diam. 50 mm. Accompanied by Extract from the Archives.
